The Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff’s Foundation Booster Club was established in 2010 and is organized under the laws of the State of California and exists as a nonprofit public benefit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (C)(3) organization. Its goal is for the promotion of community support of the sworn officers of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Malibu Lost Hills Sheriffs station including but not limited to, programs for public safety and the deterrence of crime.
The board of directors of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Foundation is a group of local business people who have dedicated this organization to develop a mechanism to provide full community support for the local law enforcement professionals who serve the Malibu, Hidden Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village and the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County from the Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff’s station.

The Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff’s Foundation consists of people like yourself…residents, merchants, business owners, and just about anyone who wants to get involved and make a positive difference in our community. The Foundation Board of Directors is very proud of its accomplishments and invite you to join them in making this important program even more successful.
Most crime rates have been dramatically reduced in the past several years due, in large part, to better crime fighting strategies, techniques and technologies which improves public safety. By engaging local law enforcement and citizens in the process of crime fighting, today citizens are safer and officers are winning the war on crime.
This unique form of support of law enforcement funding has been used to purchase crime fighting and supportive equipment such as protective mask and goggles used during our fire seasons. Fundraising for local law enforcement equipment needs remains especially high in light of continuing state budgetary cuts and threats to our deputies by natural disasters.
WHY WE NEED EACH OTHER
The MLHSF is a group of volunteer private business people who created this foundation for the benefit of the sworn officers of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at the Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff’s station. The foundation is dedicated to continually supplying immediate funding to respond to the needs of those who protect and defend this community from harm, by providing them with the equipment and support they need to do their jobs right away.
Because . . . let’s face it . . . as you are probably aware, the area serviced by these offices is one that is very unique in that it is mountainous, cavernous and yet also has one of the most beautiful beachfronts in the world but along with nature’s beauty comes the threat of nature’s wrath, including fire, flood and the potential for other natural disasters. The men and women who serve this community in law enforcement especially appreciate knowing that their specialized needs and specialized equipment to deal with all of these unique things are provided for through the generosity and support of citizens like you and that such needs can be responded to immediately to help them save lives as well as protect their own when they carry out their duties.
